The Myrinet testbed was made up of four machines interconnected through two
switches. The topology is given in Figure 12. In addition, these
machines were also connected through a separate Ethernet layer. The
connections were established from a sender HEC to a receiver HEC via two
SECs.

On this testbed, we ran the establishment procedure over both Myrinet and Ethernet and using the earlier described communication schemes - Cached TCP and Reliable UDP. The results are presented in Table 2.
