Welcome!

I'm an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Texas A&M University. I'm interested broadly in the areas of the Web, databases, and information retrieval.

My current research interests are aligned along two different (but related) aspects:

  • Web-Based Open Systems, including topics like Web Information Retrieval, Spam-Resilient Web-Scale Computing, Hypertext and Text Mining, and Online Social Networks

    and

  • Distributed Data-Intensive Systems, including topics like Decentralized Data Management, Search and Sharing in Distributed Systems, and Location-Based Services
