The Fourth International Workshop on Parameterized and Exact Computation (IWPEC 2009) covers research in all aspects of parameterized and exact algorithms and complexity. In particular, study on parameterized and exact computations for real-world applications and algorithmic engineering is especially encouraged. Papers presenting original research in the area are sought, including but not limited to: new techniques for the design and analysis of parameterized and exact algorithms, parameterized complexity theory, relationship between parameterized complexity and traditional complexity classifications, applications of parameterized and exact computation, implementation issues of parameterized and exact algorithms, high-performance computing and fixed parameter tractability. The goal is to present recent research results, including significant work in-progress, and to identify and explore directions for future research.

IWPEC 2009 will be part of ALGO 2009, which also hosts ESA, ATMOS, and WAOA. ALGO 2009 will take place September 7-11, 2009 in IT University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Visit the website of ALGO 2009 for workshop information on registration, travel & hotels, and visa applications.
