Discovering Who We Really Are

We must examine ourselves and find out who we really are. How do we make decisions? How do we determine what is right and what is wrong? Are we really in control of our thought process? If we know what is right, do we always do the right thing? Somewhere it says "you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." Unless we truly discover the Truth and the truth about ourselves, we are hopelessly doomed to malfunction.

Three major personal problems we appear to suffer from in life are selfishness (self-centeredness ), low self-esteem (feeling inadequate) and blindness/darkness or deception. Examining the Triad, we see that if we are selfish, we are frequently not good for people.

We frequently tend to be painfully aware of our low self-esteem, but to the issue of selfishness we are most often so severely blinded/walk in darkness

.

Guess what?

Therefore we are deceived. If we are deceived, then we do not use our mind to the best possible extent.

If we continually are absorbed in our low self-esteem, we can't be using our minds to the best possible extent. This causes a vicious cycle with selfishness and causes us to place ourselves first in everything in an attempt to elevate our low self-esteem and feelings of inadequacy. This of course results in faulted/broken relationships.

Life is ALL about personal relationships (friends, spousal, relatives). If we malfunction, as described above, what is our hope?

Our hope is to find the TRUTH (remove the blindness and deception) - IT CAN BE FOUND, BUT WE ARE DESPARATELY IN NEED OF OUTSIDE HELP - WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF OUTSIDE HELP ?
