John 3:19  And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Satan is the great deceiver and loves for us to be in the darkness.  We can only move out of the darkness as we appropriate John 15:5.

Our failure in truly coming to brokenness is our love for the darkness.
