Advising

Please feel free to contact me about any of the courses I am currently instructing or for advise on classes to take to prepare for my courses.

Please note that I am not an academic advisor for the Computer Science Department

Note to prospective graduate students.

I have limited funding for graduate students at this time, and I plan to fund only students who have already taken a course with me or with whom I have collaborated previously so that I can evaluate their research potential. As a first step, I encourage interested students to enroll in my 668 course this fall. During spring semester, I will offer a special topics seminar (689) on distributed computing as a sequel to 668. I plan to make decisions on graduate student funding based on their creativity, expression, and research promise demonstrated during these courses.
