We invite contributions addressing the challenges in developing interpretable models, as well as improving model interpretability in interdisciplinary application scenarios.

Topic areas for the workshop include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Interpretable machine learning

  • Interpretable deep learning

  • Visual analytics

  • Human computer interaction in data mining

  • Interactive modeling between human and intelligent systems

  • Information fusion and knowledge transfer

  • Healthcare analytics

  • Social computing

  • Computer vision

  • Anomaly detection with interpretability

  • Human-centric computing

Submission

Please submit your manuscript through the ICDM2017 conference systems. The submitted manuscript should follow the IEEE ICDM format and closely reflect the final paper as it will appear in the Proceedings.

Papers should not exceed 8 pages in the IEEE 2-column format. Submissions longer than 8 pages will be rejected without a review. All submissions will be triple-blind reviewed.
